NACE HIC Boiler Plates are HIC-resistant steel plates designed specifically to defy hydrogen-induced cracking (HIC) and thus are the best choice for industries that have to work with sour service conditions. These plates generally have Carbon (C) ≤ 0.20%, Manganese (Mn) 1.00–1.60%, Phosphorus (P) ≤ 0.015%, Sulfur (S) ≤ 0.002%, and Silicon (Si) ≤ 0.40%. Produced to NACE specifications, they are highly resistant to toughness, durability, and corrosion.
