CDS tubing is composed of carbon steel and has the standard composition of 0.18-0.23% carbon, 0.60-0.90% manganese, and very little sulfur, phosphorus, and other alloying elements. It has a high strength, toughness, and resistance. Mechanical characteristics of CDS tubing comprise great tensile strength (range between 450 MPa to 600 MPa), yield strength (range from 250 MPa to 450 MPa), and decent elongation value (about 25-30%). It possesses such properties to suit it best in high-pressure heavy-duty usage with resistance against impact, wear, and fatigue.
